Why small groups?
When someone is enslaved to sexual sin the problem is not simply a bad habit but a reflection of spiritual weaknesses and deficiencies that need to be changed and overcome. The hope and solution to these weaknesses comes through God’s power, but they require training, relationships, accountability and encouragement. A small group provides the environment where these needs can be met and lives can be changed!
On this page we list many of the small group leaders in our churches. While we have many churches with solid biblically based purity and codependency groups, we also have many without groups. If you live in an area without a purity or codependency group within your church, you have a couple options:
Many recognize the need for people in the church or people in general to overcome their struggles with sexual sin and codependency. They want to help and believe that God can bring people victory but they do not know what to do or how to get started. If this is you, you are a person with a big and noble ambition! When I was dead in my sins, I never understood that it was bad. I never understood that it was hurting me. I never understood what sin was. Once I was baptized, I understood my sins and how bad they were, but I was not fully healed for the past 18 years. When I decided to join this Purity Group because I have sinned against GOD and my wife, I decided I needed change. Not only did this group help me understand my recent sins, but it helped me understand I was not fully healed after my baptism. Going through the healing process really helped me understand my life impact of my sin overall. This purity is exactly what all human beings need. This also helped me to see of all the blessings are being poured out to those who truly want healing and salvation. It takes more than just baptism.
